Can a rhinoplasty and face lift be done at same time please? Is eye lid surgery and under eye surgery carried out in a facelift? Thank You.

Answer

Eyelid surgery can be part of a facial rejuvenation procedure that includes a facelift, but is not mandatory. It depends whether there is significant need for improvement around the eyes, and whether the patient is interested in the blepharoplasty surgery (eyelid surgery).

Although facelift and rhinoplasty surgery can be done together, I often try to avoid doing lower eyelid surgery and a rhinoplasty in the same operation. This is primarily because the bruising and swelling related to the nose surgery can impact on healing of the lower eyelids.
