Your questions answered by our expert, Lucian Ion, FRCS(Plast)
I have a benign brain tumour and epilepsy, would I still be considered for tummy tuck surgery?
The answer to this question depends on the degree of problems related epilepsy, and therefore a neurosurgical or neurological opinion would be necessary in order to establish the risks related to a general anaesthetic.
Considerations regarding safety prevail, and if the estimation is that the risk is relatively high, it would be impossible to justify carrying out a tummy tuck.
