Question

I have just turned 60 and always tried to take care of myself. Unfortunately its becoming harder, I do not have eye bags but slack skin around my eyes. I also have slight jowls.

Friends are telling me I am mad to get anything done as it could make me worse looking and tell me there is nothing wrong with me.

Answer

This is clearly a very personal decision, and you are the only one that can put things in perspective as far as your feelings and priorities, and decide on the course of action.

I would be happy to see you in consultation and evaluate the options for change in terms of the potential benefits and risks as well as the expected recovery sequence.

With regards to the age, for someone that his overall in good health, the expected recovery sequence is relatively similar to a person 10 years younger.
