I have suffered over the last few years with a mild form of rhimophyma which subsquently from mid nose to tip the skin has thickened somewhat.
I just hate the shape my nose has become, also the texture of the skin does has a bumpy appearance and would like to have that smoothed also.
Can a normal nose job repair this?
Rhinophyma is not corrected by routine rhinoplasty surgery.
Options include laser surgery or radiofrequency surgery, effectively reducing the thickness of the outer layers of the skin to allow it to heal thinner.
If the problem is mild, laser surgery seems more suitable, but I am afraid I am not sure regarding a particular laser expert that can give you guidance about it.
