This policy explains how allaboutcosmeticsurgery.co.uk, run by Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Ltd, uses cookies, and how you can choose which ones you allow.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, tablet or phone. Some are essential for a website to work. Others, such as analytics cookies, are optional and are only used if you agree.
When you first visit the site, a banner at the bottom of the screen asks whether you accept analytics cookies. No analytics cookies are set unless you click "Accept". Rejecting them does not affect how the website works.
You can change your mind at any time here, or with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page:
We will ask you again after 6 months, or sooner if we change the cookies we use.
aacs_cookie_consent (set by this website)
Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so that we do not ask you on every page.
Kept for: 6 months.
This cookie is strictly necessary to respect your choice, so it does not need consent.
_ga and _ga_... (set by Google Analytics, provided by Google)
Tell visits apart by giving your browser a random number, so that we can see how many people visit, which pages they read and how they reach the site. We use this only to improve the website. We do not use it for advertising and we do not try to identify you.
Kept for: up to 2 years.
Google may process this information outside the UK. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you reject analytics cookies after accepting them, we delete these cookies and stop Google Analytics from loading.
Some pages show videos hosted by Vimeo. We embed them in Vimeo's "do not track" mode, which stops Vimeo from setting tracking cookies or recording your viewing.
The administration area used by our staff sets a session cookie (ci_session) when a staff member logs in. It is not used on the pages visitors see.
We do not use advertising or social media tracking cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, the website will still work, but it will ask for your cookie choice on each visit. The ICO has information about cookies at ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.
For how we look after your personal data, see our Privacy Policy. For any question about cookies, please contact us:
