I have had the size of my nose pointed out a number of times and it is really getting on my nerves.
I am 16 and planning on getting a nose job when I am older, however, I am scared in case it goes wrong during surgery.
Do they go wrong usually, how many out of 100?
Revision rhinoplasty is approximately 10% in the best of hands, but that does not necessarily mean that each and every time it is for a significant problem.
Detail is important to many patients, and there are instances where people want to achieve a very specific result which may take more than one intervention.
I generally advise considering cosmetic surgery for the nose only after the age of 18, so at that stage it is possible to evaluate on a computer simulation what it is that you would like to achieve, based on which to have a more detailed discussion regarding the risks.
