I am considering otoplasty but I am worried about playing football and other contact sports after the surgery.
Is there a chance of the ear being dislodged and returning to its original position?
The typical recommendation is that for the first 2 months after otoplasty surgery you should wear a sweatband over the ears when playing contact sports, to avoid injury.
