Question

I had open rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago and I still have a headache and pressure on my forehead and into my eyes. Sunlight makes this worse.

Is this normal?

Answer

It sounds like sinus congestion, which can be improved with medication.

I suggest that you contact your surgeon and discuss this promptly.

It is normal for the inside of the nose to still be swollen at this stage, but sensitivity to light is not.
