I have a knobbly like gristly bit on end of my nose that I would like removed. Would this be a simple procedure or would it be a long healing process.
It is difficult to answer the question without consultation. I would imagine from your description that the prominence at the tip of your nose is due to a strong fold in one of the cartilages that support the tip of the nose.
In some instances it is possible to shave down the excess cartilage, which would be indeed a straightforward procedure with relatively short downtime.
If the whole structure of the support of tip of the nose needs to be reshaped, the downtime is relatively longer and may require as long as 10 to 14 days for return to work and socialising.
