I have recently had non surgical nose reshaping carried out after many years of wanting to have nose surgery but not being confident about the outcome.
I am pleased with the definition that I have been able to achieve on my bridge but would really like more definition on the tip with uplift and lessening of the width of the base of my nose.
Does this mean that I would have to wait for the filler (Juverderm) to disappear or could I have ethnic rhinoplasty now. I am feeling much happier about, going ahead with the procedure and would love to be able to do it as soon as possible, as it has been many years that I have wanted to do this.
If the injectable filler was based on hyaluronic acid, I would prefer to dissolve it prior to the surgery for two reasons:
Fortunately, the hyaluronic acid (Juvederm, etc) injectable fillers can be dissolved in 24-48-hours using hyaluronidase injections as an outpatient procedure.
Once this is done, and 3-D imaging and procedure planning gives a relatively clear understanding of the configuration to allow you to decide about the end result that you wish to achieve. This also gives me a lot more clarity regarding the changes required for individual components of the nose.
