Question

I have three very prominent veins in the middle of my forehead. They show whenever I get hot, smile or exercise.

I've done a bit of research into this and it looks like my options to get rid of them are either: fat grafting, ligation, surgical removal.

Could you please let me know if you're experienced in any of these treatments.

Answer

I have experience with fat grafting to the forehead, and to some extent the situation that you describe is also sometimes applicable to the temple region.

I have no experience with ligation or removal of forehead veins, and have some reservation regarding the procedures you describe, since the blood supply to the face and scalp is very abundant and removing some of the veins may make other is more noticeable because of the redirection of the blood flow.
