I wish to get rid of saggy jowls but do not wish to have a facelift as it is too costly. Also I do not wish to have general anaesthesia as I have had two long operations in the last 8 months.
The alternatives depend on how severe the problem is, how much improvement you would like to achieve, and the costs that you consider adequate.
Options include liposuction using radio-frequency assisted technique (Facetite) for an element of tightening to the skin support as well as volume reduction, and thread lifts.
You do have to appreciate however that neither option is equivalent to a facelift for this type of problem, both in terms of quality of the result and longevity.
