I am 16 and I am set on having a nose job. My nose is crooked and large with a bump, would this be harder to produce good results because there's more things wrong with it?
Also I know the age is an issue but my parents are on board, and are willing to pay and I have stopped growing in height so would you be able to perfom rhinoplasty at this time?
Reduction rhinoplasty is one of the most common types of rhinoplasty intervention, and I would not rate it to be higher risk in terms of obtaining a good result.
One of the limitations for improved definition in the nasal tip is related to the thickness of the nasal tip skin, and there are some techniques to optimise the results specifically for this.
My approach is to consider cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery after the age of 18, but it is possible that if you enquire with other surgeons they may have different protocols and be happy to assist you at this stage.
