Is it possible while having rhinoplasty to have the angle between the nose and the upper lip changed?
Yes indeed, nose reshaping includes adjustment to the angle between the columella and the upper lip, whether to increase or decrease it. It is possible to evaluate this in a 2d or 3d simulation, and may require removal of some cartilage and sometime bone or on the contrary, a cartilage graft.
The angle may be a problem only when smiling, which can benefit from adjusting some small muscles at the base of the nose.
