Hi, is there any way to have rhinoplasty without being put under general anesthetic and with local instead? I am a very calm person and have surgery under local before, but I just seem to have a fear of ever being have to put under general anesthetic.
In my experience, that would only really be suitable for a small adjustment to the tip or bridge of the nose.
Local anaesthetic with intravenous sedation is also an option, but you should bear in mind that it is less safe than a general anaesthetic.
