Hello,

As an athlete breathing through my nose is pretty important to me! What are the possible side effects of rhinoplasty if you use your nose in intensive exercise?

Answer

It is possible for nasal obstruction to create berating difficulties after surgery. More frequently though, the airway is maintained or improved, with positive impact.

In case of mild obstruction, I typically precrive steroid decongestants, which may affect the drug tests.

Injuries to the nose can damage it with or without surgery.
