I have very bad crows feet which don't affect so much the side of my eye but go down my cheek when I smile.
Would a mid face lift be able to correct this?
The mid facelift is not likely to improve the crows feet lines and may sometimes make them worse.
Options for improvement include using wrinkle relaxing injections, or skin tightening along the lines of a facelift, or a continuum between facelift and midface lifting, with an incorporated tightening in the mid-face region.
Alternatively, volume enhancement, possibly with fat transfer may also contribute.
Finally, there is the option of using skin resurfacing along the lines of laser treatment or chemical peels to attenuate the lines.
If you tend to smoke, use sunbeds or extensive sun exposure, they all tend to make these lines worse, and you should contemplate a change in lifestyle also, in particular if you would like to maintain the results.
