Can reduction rhinoplasty also widen the nasal passage making it easier to breathe? as I would like to change the width/shape of my nose but also suffer with a regular blocked nose and would like to sort both out at the same time.
Indeed, reduction rhinoplasty can be combined with additional work to improve the quality of the nasal airway. In some instances, additional work to improve the drainage of the para-nasal sinuses is also relevant to the improvement of the nasal airway, and is typically involves the intervention of an ENT specialist, possibly as a combined procedure.
I would be happy to see you in consultation and evaluate the characteristics of the change that you would like to achieve as well as the general features of the nasal airway and advise you accordingly.
