I am considering rhinoplasty to refine my tip.

Can this be performed under local anaesthesia + sedation?

Answer

I typically carry out rhinoplasty surgery under general anaesthetic, mostly because it facilitates the intervention and is statistically safer for the patient.

I would be happy to evaluate the degree of changes that you want to achieve and guide you regarding the option of local anaesthetic combined with intravenous sedation, but this would be very unusual in my practice.
