Can you tell me the purpose of an infra-lobular graft in primary rhinoplasty and whether it is necessary for tip refinement?
The infra-lobular grafting in primary rhinoplasty is sometimes used to enhance the definition of the nasal tip on profile and sometimes to mask the clefting visible on the underside of the tip. Another possible use is to produce slight lengthening.
It is not systematically necessary for the refinement of the nasal tip.
