Do you perform closed rhinoplasty if I required tip work only?
As a general principle, reshaping the nasal tip is more of an indication for open surgery then reshaping of the bridge. Without any doubt, there are surgeons that prefer closed rhinoplasty irrespective of the components that need to be addressed, but in my practice I feel that the open tip approach is more suitable for adjustment in the shape of the nasal tip cartilages.
