I had Fraxel for the first time yesterday, I think the consultant was using the milder settings but I still found it very very painful, and if I had known it was going to be that bad I wouldn't have got it.
My question to you is, does it or can it affect other parts of your body?
I had my period that day I went it, and by the time I got home it had stopped, would that have affected it?
I literally started to feel a bit sick for a few hours after, its very strong treatment.
I dont know why I felt so cold during treatment.
Depending on the type of fractional laser treatment and of course the settings, the degree of discomfort or pain during the treatment can be significant.
Although stressful events can generally speaking affect the period, I doubt that this would be a problem in the future. I am not aware of any systemic effects of the fractional laser treatment.
If by any chance you notice disruption in your periods, you should discuss this matter with a gynaecologist.
