Question

I have capsular contracture (surgery performed elsewhere), does your capsulectomy and exchange of implants include a choice of teardrop implants aswel?

I am considering buccal fat removal, however I had dimple creation surgery 2 years ago, would this affect the procedure?

Answer

Capsulectomy and exchange of breast implants allows you a choice of the implant shape. The discussion is really related to the result that you would like to achieve and the characteristics of the breasts. On its own, capsulectomy is not contraindication for the teardrop implant shape.

I have not carried out buccal fat reduction after dimple creation surgery, but dimple creation is typically done further forward compared to the access point for buccal fat reduction. I would have to evaluate however your exact situation and advise you accordingly.
