I had nose surgery few years back but I‘m still unhappy. I am pakistani, the surgeon told me I have thick skin so he can‘t do anything more, it was a closed surgery. I didn‘t have the bulbous nose before.
Have you dealt with ethnic nose surgery and can you help?
A significant number of reduction rhinoplasty procedures involve creating more definition for the nasal tip in patients that also have thicker soft tissues.
Although as a rule the degree of correction will be more limited in these situations, it is possible to produce improvement. This typically involves strengthening the support of the nasal tip, adjustment in the shape of the cartridges in the area, and a degree of reduction in the thickness of the soft tissues.
