Question

I am interested in tip refinement or revision rhinoplasty surgery. I underwent rhinoplasty procedure in 2011 and my hump on nose was removed.

I want my tip to become smaller/straighter, but my surgeon of original surgery. He mentioned I have thick oily skin and there is no guarantee in revision, could you advise?

Answer

There are some options to improve on the definition of the nasal tip also in situations where the nasal soft tissues are thicker, and in fairness this can be more accurately discuss during a consultation. Effectively, at the time of the consultation it is possible to use computer imaging and simulation to determine the degree of change that you would like to achieve which makes it possible to advise you about feasibility.
