Your questions answered by our surgeon, Lucian Ion, FRCS(Plast)

I am 29 and have noticed circles under my eyes - particularly the right. Also I have good cheek bones but not so much in the mid face which looks slightly flatter, so I am hoping to treat the tear trough area and mid face.
Is there a rough cost for this procedure and what would it entail?
I would want a permanent solution rather than fillers, I think. I am 30 next year and am hoping to have the ball rolling to correct the problem in the next few months.
Any more information would be very helpful and I expect a consultation at your clinic would be necessary?
Unfortunately, there is no permanent answer to correction of the tear trough, since none of the treatments available is able to stop the ageing process in its tracks. In this sense, injectable fillers may be a suitable first-line approach.
Surgical treatment typically involves restoring the deficient volume using fat transfer, which can be carried out under local aesthetic typically with sedation or general anaesthetic. Local anaesthetic is usually too unpleasant to entertain.
