Question

I am interested in buccal fat pad removal. I am living in Ireland and will have to travel to London for consultation.

Answer

In general terms, buccal fat reduction is contemplated as part of enhancing the definition of facial features. As such, there is overlap with liposuction to the lower part of the face and jawline.

During the consultation, I use 3-D imaging and simulation to gain a better understanding of the type and extent of changes that patients would like to achieve, which allows me to provide guidance about the procedure or procedures of choice, and limitations of what is achievable with current techniques.
