Your questions answered by our surgeon, Lucian Ion, FRCS(Plast)
Asked on 19 April 2013
I have been to see two surgeons for two consultations for rhinoplasty, they both have said that I have too much skin on the tip of my nose and recommended me against the surgery as I wanted the tip of my nose re-shaping and narrowing.
What do you think about this?
It is impossible for me to comment about the advice provided by two colleagues who we have seen you, without having had the opportunity to see you.
My approach is to try and understand during a consultation with the assistance of computer imaging what it is that you wish to achieve and to compare it to the starting point. This allows me to formulate advise regarding likely outcomes, associated risks and recovery period.
