Question

I am currently looking to have a nose job done within the next year. I am of African origin with typical wide nose fat lips features and I’m looking for advice and information as a starting point.

Answer

In general terms, the starting point is a consultation and using imaging in 2D or 3-D to try and evaluate the characteristics of the change that you wish to achieve.

At the time of a consultation, it is also important to appreciate the characteristics of the surgical intervention, alternatives available, the associated risks and recovery period to allow you to decide on the course of action.
