I had a septoplasty last year (summer 2011) however my nose, I believe, has become worse in terms of function and appearance.
I would like to have a rhinoplasty to correct both function and appearance.
When should I book my consultation for a rhinoplasty?
I would say based to wait for a year until you have the surgery. With this in mind you can look at having the consultation any time now, because it would be preferable to have 2 meetings prior to the operation.
As part of the consultation, a computerised evaluation of the current problems and targets for change would be necessary. I always advise a 2nd consultation for most cosmetic procedures, and certainly with even more emphasis for a secondary rhinoplasty.
