Question

I had previous nose surgery and my columella scar did not heal well and I have a notch or step off where it is not aligned correctly. Can you fix this in office? What are the chances of a good result?

Answer

I do not have the option of local anaesthetic procedures in my office, but the revision can take place under a local anaesthetic.

Typically, adjustment of the scar on the columella yields good results, as the scar tissue typically become soft relatively quickly.

It would be important however to allow at least six month from your operation, as early surgery tends to have poorer outcomes.
