I had restylane in 2005 and this has left a lump. I've tried massaging the area but it's not gone away. Would hyaluronidase injection help?
It is worthwhile trying to use hyaluronidase even if the treatment has been carried out along time ago.
As a rule though, it may no longer be the product but rather fibrous tissue or inflammatory reaction that is persisting.
To this effect, the hyaluronidase injection has also a diagnostic value because it will clarify whether it is product or local tissue reaction.
