Your questions answered by our surgeon, Lucian Ion, FRCS(Plast)
Asked on 19 February 2013
I had rhinoplasty a number of years ago and the swelling is quite bad. I understand that steroid injections to the tip of the nose will help.
I had the surgery in Prague and do not plan to go back as I see it a mistake to have done the surgery there in the first place.
Please help me I am lost and have no idea what else I can do. I am black and understand that thick skin takes a long time to go down. But I am sure not this long.
I would be happy to see you in consultation and evaluate the nature of the problem and the options to assist. It is most likely that in the early stages steroid injections may be the best choice.
