Question

I just wanted to know, is it an advantage or disadvantage to have thick skin for rhinoplasty or does it make no difference?

Answer

On the advantages of thicker nasal tip skin is that it allows for consistent long-term smoother contour of the nasal tip.

The limitation it produces is related to the amount of narrowing that can be achieved, in particular when this is combined with a general reduction in the size of the nose.
