Is it possible to have nose tip surgery under local?
Most of the time, nasal tip surgery is carried out under a general anaesthesia or local anaesthetic with intravenous sedation.
Simple local anaesthetic treatment I tend to reserve for relatively minimal interventions, mostly to adjust the shape following a formal operation.
Reduction of the alar base can easily be carried out under a local anaesthetic with limited discomfort.
