I was wondering, is it possible to have rhinoplasty as I cannot breathe properly and want to improve the appearance of my nose, if I have asthma?
Septo-rhinoplasty surgery can improve breathing through the nose as well as the appearance of the nose, but is not a treatment for asthma. It can only address problems of mechanical obstruction through the nasal passages.
There are several reasons why mechanical obstruction to the airflow can create problems for breathing through the nose, and to a great extent these problems can be improved by surgery.
