I've done Botox but I can't see the results.

Answer

Botulinum toxin treatments take several days to start showing effects, as the treatment is not a filler. But works from binding itself to receptors that transmit the signals from nerves to muscles and gradually block the signals. This weakens of paralyses the muscle, depending on dosage.

If however after 7-10 days from the treatment you do not see any effects you should contact the practitioner that provided your treatment and ask for a review and possible repeat treatment.

Some people develop antibodies that neutralise the toxin but usually after a more prolonged period of treatment.
