Question

I would really like (need) eyelid surgery/lifting. My eyelids are covering almost half of my pupils, especially when I am tired. Would that be covered by private health insurance?

Answer

If you are contemplating using your health insurance for upper eyelid surgery, it would be preferable to see an oculoplastic plastic surgeon with a background in ophthalmology, who could also evaluate the visual fields and identify the medical grounds for the treatment.
