Your questions answered by our surgeon, Lucian Ion, FRCS(Plast)
Asked on 11 November 2012
I have lines under my eyes that go across my face, it looks like a layer of fat has been built up.
My face is not symmetrical and one side always looks tired.
Is there any way you can help?
To be fair, no living being has a symmetrical face, and surgery or non-surgical treatments cannot produce high-level symmetry, primarily because there are too many elements which differ between the right and left sides.
In general terms, it is possible to use imaging in 3D as well as simulation to understand better the type of changes that would create highest impact and allow you to decide regarding your preferred management pathway.
