Does having neck lift surgery alone without facelift carry any risk to nerve damage at all?
What are the risks of neck lift surgery(worse case scenario)?
Any surgical intervention in the area of the lower face and jaw line carries a generic risk to the branches of the facial nerve that moves the facial muscles around the mouth.
Neck lift surgery has a lower risk of nerve injury, more likely to be temporary, compared to facelift surgery, but I am not aware of exact statistics.
